What to Expect at Your Appointment
Before Your Appointment
To ensure the best results, please arrive with a clean face—no makeup, eyeshadow, creams, or moisturizers around your eye area. This helps the adhesive bond properly to your natural lashes.
During the application, I aim to minimize conversation to keep your face still, as movement can affect the placement of the lashes. Feel free to bring headphones to listen to your favorite music or podcast. I typically use one AirPod to stay focused but am always available to answer any questions or address concerns.
Lash Extensions
Once you're comfortable, I'll ask you to open your eyes so I can place gel pads on your lower lashes to keep them out of the way. This might feel a bit awkward, but it's essential for a smooth application. If you experience any discomfort, please let me know immediately.
I'll then apply individual lashes or fans to your natural lashes. You might hear some rustling as I change glue or grab supplies. After the application, I'll remove the gel pads—please keep your eyes closed until I instruct you to open them. When getting up, do so slowly to avoid any dizziness from lying down for an extended period.
Lash Lift & Tint
After you're settled, I'll place gel pads on your lower lashes. Then, I'll apply a silicone rod to your eyelids near the lash line, which serves as a guide for the new curl. Using a water-soluble adhesive, I'll gently secure your lashes to the rod.
Next, I'll apply a lifting lotion, which will sit on your lashes for 6–10 minutes, depending on your lash health. After removing the lifting lotion, I'll apply a neutralizing solution to stop the processing. If you've opted for a tint, I'll apply it before removing the adhesive. Finally, I'll remove the rods and use a mini fan to dry your lashes.
As with other services, please keep your eyes closed until I tell you to open them, and rise slowly to prevent dizziness.
If There's a Problem...
If you experience swelling, irritation, itchiness, or any other eye-related discomfort, contact your doctor immediately.
If your lashes feel too long, heavy, or curly, please don't attempt to cut or remove them yourself. Reach out to me so we can find a solution together.
